What kind of events do you host?

Stay Forever hosts a variety of craft workshops for adults and children. Our goal has always been to bring art and design to Ridgewood through product offerings and hands-on experiences that focus on the process of making and the spirit of community. 

Our workshops are taught by local artists in our shop located at 818 Woodward Ave, Unit D, Ridgewood, NY 11385.

Do you host private group workshops?

Most of our instructors are open to teaching private group classes.  So whether you'd like to build terrariums as part of a kid birthday activity or make flower crowns for as a bachelorette party craft, we will try our best to accommodate you just send an email with the details and we'll put you in touch directly with an instructor for rates and availability.

 How much do events cost? 

The cost of workshops is up to the instructors but varies from $28-100. Cost factors in materials, prep time and hands-on instruction. 

As parents, we also feel it's important to host kid-friendly craft bars. These craft bars are usually all ages and low cost, making them accessible to all.

How can I teach a workshop?

If you are a maker, interested in teaching a workshop, we'd love to hear from you! Email your workshop proposal to hello@shopstayforever.com. Include the details of your event and any links to your work or social media.

How many people can a workshop accommodate?

We have two tables that fit 12 people total though our workshops are usually maxed at 10. We do have a total of 15 chairs, so depending on the workshop, we may be able to fit more people.

How does Stay Forever promote workshops? 

We promote all events through our newsletter as well as our Instagram account and Facebook page. We ask that all instructors promote the event through their own social media outlets as well.

How can people buy tickets? 

Stay Forever will manage ticket sales for workshops. Tickets can be purchased online or in-store.

How much do instructors make?

Profits are split 50/50 with the instructor.

Do you host not-for-profit events?

We are open to hosting any type of event. Our space can be rented for not-for-profit events at a flat, hourly rate. Please inquire for details.

I purchased a ticket but can't make it, can I get a refund?

Refunds can be requested up to 7-days prior to the event to allow us time to fill the spot. After this time, refunds cannot be issued but they can be transferred to a friend.

Why was my workshop cancelled?

All workshops have a minimum number of seats that need to be filled in order to hold the class. If this minimum is not met, the class may be cancelled or rescheduled. If this occurs, all ticket holders will have the option for a refund.
